Beth Crutchleo, Owner of Resolve Accounting Services, Inc.
In 2002, I started working for a small market research company in Cincinnati, OH. As the third person hired, I wore lots of ‘hats’….project manager, accountant, HR, admin assistant. In 11 years, we grew to 34 employees and I learned that systems, processes and reliable, consistent financial reports can make all the difference in the growth and success of a small business. And since I’ve always enjoyed working with numbers, creating systems and generally bringing order out of chaos, I realized this would be valuable to other small businesses…so I started my own. Your business needs more than someone entering and paying bills (a bookkeeper) to thrive. But accounting employees are expensive! So, you hire me and my team a few hours a month and with monthly, customized, financial reports and processes that keep everything running smoothly, you will know exactly what you need to know…the good and the not-so-good. And then you can do what you do best.
As for my education, I have a bachelors of science degree, but worked with accounting consultants to fill in the accounting gaps. I come to accounting from experience first, and book knowledge second, giving me a foundation that understands what the numbers and reports actually mean. I don’t do taxes. (You couldn’t pay me enough to keep up with tax law! ) But, I make your CPA’s tax prep quick and easy…and their tax-prep bill smaller, since the books are in order when they get them.
When I’m not working, I enjoy a good story in any form, traveling, researching my family history/genealogy, good conversations over a coffee, meal or while taking a long walk. I’m a Jesus Follower, 5 with a 4 wing on the Enneagram, ISTJ on the MBTI, and an Aunt to 11 (fun!! :)) nieces and nephews. I was born and raised in Greater Cincinnati (Who Dey! :) and proud to call it home. In the summer of 2024, I decided to shake things up a bit and do some traveling. Visiting a dear friend in Madison, WI was one trip on the agenda and I ended up staying! #Ilovesnow. However, I travel to Cincinnati 3-4 times a year to visit clients, family, and friends.

Melissa – Junior Accountant – ROCK. STAR.
Detail oriented. Can solve ANY problem. Excel wizard. Loves checklists as much as Beth. Also loves The West Wing as much as Beth. In Melissa’s own words: “I’ve lived in the Cincinnati area for around 25 years and have known Beth for almost 20 of those. I am currently a part-time bookkeeper and a full-time wife and mom. I enjoy a nice, witty show or movie, a good book or podcast and spending time with family and friends.“

Geraldine – Junior Accountant – DETAIL. WRANGLER.
Wrestles problems to the ground. Won’t waste your time with wordy emails. Professional and friendly. She knows what happens in Vegas. In Geraldine’s own words: “Raised a good mid-western girl in southwest Kansas, I earned my BA from Smith College in Massachusetts and then headed west to California where I earned my MBA from Pepperdine University. I have had a diverse career that has included mental health and social work, professional travel, corporate event planning, and management. My passport is always current and I’ve never met a bulldog that I didn’t love.“

Julie – Senior Accountant – ACCOUNTING. NINJA.
Gets it done, no matter what. Makes sure. Former CPA but doesn’t overuse journal entries. Empty Nester dreaming about her grandkids. In Julie’s own words: Numbers and spreadsheets might be my professional love language, but life for me is all about balance! After seven years as a full-time accountant out of college, I traded in balance sheets for diaper duty with my three amazing sons. Now I’m thrilled to add “first-time grandma” to my resume! When I’m not baking homemade bread, playing pickleball, or wrangling my ever-growing crew of rescue animals (don’t ask how many), you’ll find me volunteering at church alongside my husband—proving that whether it’s finances or family, I’m always happiest when things add up just right.
